A Georgia dad had to resort to drastic measures after his daughter failed to clean her room as requested.
The girl returned home from school on Monday to find the contents of her room in the family’s driveway.
“Haley, room moved to driveway. Clean it next time,” read a sign in the driveway.
The father, a soldier at Fort Stewart, told WSAV that he warned her he didn’t want to treat her like a soldier but when she wouldn’t listen he decided to send her a message.
He told WSAV his daughter was initially upset and said that the move was “extreme.”
But, since then, dad has hired a painted to come give Haley’s room a fresh coat of paint in the hopes that she’ll keep it cleaner from now on.
