Norfolk, Va. - A walk-a-thon and carnival has held to help a high school teacher battling cancer.
This is the third time in 10 years Camille York has had breast cancer.
It's about the same amount of time she has taught Spanish at Granby High School.
She is a beloved teacher at the high school. She was selected as teacher of the year two years ago.
"This is amazing and especially seeing former students, and alumni, and faculty that are no longer here coming back to support me it is awesome," York said.
York has been making Breast Cancer Awareness her mission since getting diagnosed.
She gets students involved every year and has raised thousands for cancer research. This time, she'll be the one to benefit.
She hasn't been able to work since December.
Organizers hope to raise enough money to support her through treatment.
