The Evenflo Company has recalled nearly 1.4 million child car seats because sticking buckles may make it difficult to free the child in an emergency.

The recalled Evenflo models are the Momentum 65 (including LX and DLX), Chase (including LX, DLX, and Select), Maestro (including Performance), Symphony (including 65, LX, 65 E3, and DLX), Snugli All-In-One, Snugli Booster, Titan 65, SureRide DLX and Secure Kid (including LX, DLX, 100, 300 and 400).

The company says it will send replacement buckles to owners.

This does not include rear-facing infant seats that use the same buckles. Evenflo says the rear-facing seats don’t need to be recalled because the portion of the seat holding the infant can be detached from the base quickly despite the sticking buckle.
