Victim in Eastern Shore DUI crash dies from injuries

Temperanceville, Va. – A man seriously injured in a DUI crash on the Eastern Shore on Saturday has died.

Lenwood Bowen and Melissa Johnson were riding in a 2003 Lexus on Route 695 on Saturday evening when it was struck by a Ford Mustang that crossed into oncoming traffic.

Bowen died from his injuries Sunday. Johnson was hospitalized with non-life threatening injuries.

The driver of the Mustang, Ronnie Washington, was hospitalized with non life threatening injuries and later charged with driving under the influence.
