UPDATE: Man arrested, charged in Norfolk homicide

UPDATE: Police say they have now made an arrest in a homicide case in Norfolk. 

They've arrested and charged Dustin George of the 800 block of Golf Street for the homicide of Dorian Booker. 

He was arrested in Virginia Beach and charged with murder and use of a firearm in the commission of a felony. 

Witnesses say that while in the home, they heard the two arguing. They say a gunshot followed. Witnesses say they walked toward the gunshot sound and found Booker on the floor. 

George is now in the custody of the Norfolk City Jail. 

Norfolk, Va. - A man was shot and killed overnight in Norfolk. Norfolk police have identified the victim as 40-year-old Dorian Booker.

It happened on Goff Street - that's just off Tidewater Drive - just before 1:30 a.m. this morning.

Police say when officers and paramedics arrived on scene, they found a man who had been shot.

He died at the scene.

Police say they are investigating the shooting as a homicide.

Right now, they do not have a suspect or a reason for the shooting.

Police told NewsChannel 3 they expect to have more information later this morning.
