Petersburg, Va. – Police in Petersburg have named Alexander Roosevelt Hill, Jr., 47, a person of interest in connection to a deadly fire, according to a report from WTVR in Richmond.
According to police, Hill has friends and family in Virginia Beach and Newport News. He is considered armed and dangerous. Petersburg police confirm with NewsChannel 3 U.S. Marshalls are looking for him here in the Hampton Roads area.
The fire happened early Saturday at a house on Harding Street. After dousing the flames, firefighters found four bodies inside the home.
One of the victims was only two years old.
Petersburg Police have determined evidence of foul play and the case is being investigated as a homicide.
Along with being wanted as a person of interest in this case, Hill is also wanted for violating a protective order, providing false information to police and assault.
