Connecticut Senator Richard Blumenthal was nearly hit by a train on Friday – while speaking at an event on commuter safety. The train barely missed Blumenthal as Milford Mayor Ben Blake spoke about commuter safety, saying “safety, as you know, is paramount” as the train whizzed by.
