ATF offers up to $5,000 reward in Yorktown robbery

Yorktown, Va. – Investigators with the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives (ATF) and the York-Poquoson Sheriff’s Office are seeking the public’s assistance in locating an armed suspect who is sought for the robbery of the Exxon gas station located at 3102 Big Bethel Road in Yorktown, Virginia.

The robbery was committed at approximately 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday, April 16, 2014.

The suspect should be considered armed and dangerous, officials say.

The description of the suspect is as follows: white male, 6 feet tall, approximately 200 pounds, with dirty blonde hair and a beard.

The suspect was last seen wearing a red hat with a black brim and a red/white/black jacket with white lettering of an “A” on it.

A reward of up to $5,000 is being offered for any information leading to the arrest of this suspect.
