Hampton, Va. – A man has been rushed to the hospital after he was shot in the lower torso in Hampton on Tuesday night.
Officials say a fight broke out between a group of people and that’s when the victim was shot.
Police received calls about the shooting at 7:04 p.m.
This happened at Executive Drive and Terrell Lane.
When police arrived, they found the man who they say was suffering from a single gunshot wound.
He was taken to the hospital for non-life threatening injuries.
There’s no information about a suspect at this time.
The motive is under investigation.
