A jury in Nelson County has found Randy Allen Taylor guilty of first-degree murder and abduction with intent to defile in connection with the disappearance of Alexis Murphy, a Nelson County teen who went missing last August.
The jury recommended life sentences on both counts.
CBS 6 News in Richmond reported that the verdict was read around 4:00 p.m. Thursday afternoon and the sentencing followed immediately afterwards.
