7-Eleven store robbed overnight in Virginia Beach

Virginia Beach, Va. – A 7-Eleven store was robbed overnight on Silina Drive in Virginia Beach, police tell NewsChannel 3.

The call was received at 2:35 a.m. this morning. Police responded to the 7-Eleven located at 3011 Silina Drive.

The suspect entered the store, asked for change, and then demanded money while implying a weapon. The victim complied and then gave the suspect an undisclosed amount of money.

No injuries have been reported.

The suspect ran away from the store towards Silina Drive, police say.

The suspect is described as a black male, in his 30s, 5’ 7”, 200lbs, wearing a dark hoodie, and black pants. He had light facial hair, police say.
