UPDATE: Police say they have now arrested Divine Raquan Grayson.
He is now behind bars.
Hampton, Va. - Police are asking for help finding a suspect after a man was shot in the area of Libbey Street and West Kelly Avenue in Hampton Monday night.
Police responded around 10:20 p.m. and found the victim in the roadway suffering from gunshot wounds to the upper torso. He was transported to the hospital with life-threatening injuries.
The victim remains in critical but stable condition.
The suspect has been identified as Divine Raquan Grayson, 20, who resides in the 1600 block of Roanoke Avenue. He currently has active warrants for one count of Aggravated Malicious Wounding, one count of Use of a Firearm in the Commission of a Felony, and one count of Possession of a Firearm by a Convicted Felon.
He should be considered armed and dangerous.
The motive remains under investigation.
