Edenton, NC – Police say 16 year-old Iyanna Roulac of Edenton was shot in the abdomen Sunday night.
The shooting happened in the area of Dr. Martin Luther King Avenue and Twiddy Avenue in Edenton.
Roulac was transported to he hospital where she is stable. Her family says she is expected to be okay.
Police say there was a large crowd at the scene and are asking any witnesses to come forward with information.
