Virginia Beach, Va. - A man drowned Sunday afternoon near 61st St.
According to Ed Brazel with Virginia Beach EMS, the man was seen floating face down in the water just before 2 p.m.
Lifeguards from the 57th St. stands as well as a bystander pulled the man from the water.
He was not breathing at the time and was transported to Sentara Virginia Beach General Hospital where he was pronounced dead.
The man has not been identified yet.
