Kitty Hawk, NC – A 58-year-old Nags Head man is behind bars in Dare County after officials there say he was caught with a significant amount of heroin and cash.
The Dare County Narcotics Task Force conducted an investigation that targeted the sale and use of heroin in the Kitty Hawk area.
During the investigation they discovered that someone wanted to sell over $8,000.00 worth of heroin. They used surveillance to conduct a vehicle stop and that’s when they arrested Donald Keith.
They say he had over 200 caps of heroin and cash.
He has been charged with trafficking heroin by possession and he is now in the Dare County Detention Center. His bond was set at $75,000.
