Chesapeake Police are investigating a shooting that took place Tuesday night.
Police say they responded to an apartment complex in the 2100 block of Farmer Lane at 11:40 p.m. in reference to an injured person.
Officers arrived to find a 21-year-old man suffering from a gunshot wound to the abdomen.
He was transported to Sentara Norfolk General Hospital with serious injuries.
