Norfolk, Va. - A man has died after the motorcycle he was operating was involved in a crash with a vehicle in Norfolk on Thursday night.
Emergency officials received calls about the accident at 8:50 p.m.
The accident occurred at 38th Street and Colley Avenue.
Crews say they found the motorcyclist suffering with serious injuries. He was rushed to Sentara Norfolk General Hospital where he was later pronounced dead.
His identity has not yet been released.
No one else was injured. Police say neither speed nor alcohol appeared to be factors in this crash.
They say the driver of the vehicle stayed on the scene after the accident. No charges have been filed.
