Man accused of growing marijuana in Dare County home

Dare County, NC – A 40-year-old man has been charged after deputies in Dare County found growing marijuana plants and other items at a home in Salvo.

Deputies executed a search warrant and found the plants and evidence used in a marijuana grow operation.

After the discovery, deputies arrested David James.

He was charged with manufacture marijuana and possess with the intent to sell or deliver marijuana.

He was released on $5,000 bond.
