Chesapeake, Va. – A man was hospitalized after a shooting at a Chesapeake home last night, police tell NewsChannel 3.
On Monday, June 9, 2014 just before 11:00 p.m., police responded to a shooting at a home located in the 4600 block of Woodmark Trail.
Officers arrived on scene and discovered that two black male suspects forced entry into the home and shot one of the two people inside.
The suspects then ran away from the scene.
The 41-year-old male victim suffered a gunshot wound to his arm and was transported to Sentara Norfolk General Hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
The victim was at the home visiting his girlfriend, who was not injured.
The case is currently under investigation.
