A 20-year-old Virginia Beach man was arrested over the weekend in connection to a robbery at the CVS Pharmacy in the 1800 block of Frederick Boulevard in Portsmouth.
Police say they were notified of the robbery at 9:55 a.m. Sunday morning.
According to reports, the suspect entered the location and demanded prescription drugs from employees.
The suspect did not display a weapon but he implied that he may have been armed.
Employees complied with his demands and the suspect fled on foot.
Later that afternoon, detectives secured warrants for 20-year-old Anthony S. Morgan of Virginia Beach.
He has been charged with Robbery, Abduction and Possession of a Controlled Substance.
