Portsmouth, Va. – Police are now investigating after a man was shot in Portsmouth on Wednesday night.
They say emergency officials were notified about the incident at 7:30 p.m.
They say a man was in the 100 block of Webster Avenue suffering from what appeared to be a gunshot wound to the torso.
He was taken to Norfolk General Hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
There is no suspect or motive yet in this case.
