Posted

The York-Poquoson Sheriff’s Office is investigating a robbery attempt at the Credit Union Service Center that occurred Friday morning.

Authorities say the suspect entered the bank and stood in line for the teller. After another customer walked in and stood behind the suspect, the suspect left the bank.

The suspect reentered the bank a few minutes later and again stood in the line for the teller.

When it was his turn, the suspect presented a note to the teller that demanded a stack of $100s and $50s.

The teller pushed the panic button and the suspect fled without obtaining any money. A vehicle description was unavailable.
