Police looking to identify man accused of hit and run in Suffolk

Suffolk, Va. – Suffolk police need your help to identify a man who they say hit a vehicle and left the scene this weekend.

They say this happened in the 900 block of North Main Street on June 14th at around 2:33 p.m.

They say the man hit a vehicle in a parking lot of the Rent-N-Roll after leaving the store.

After causing what police are describing as extensive damage, he left the scene.

Police say the man was driving a burgundy/maroon GMC Yukon SUV with North Carolina tags They say the first digits are either OK or OC and the last three digits are 060.

No one was injured.

They describe the suspect as a man in his late 20s to mid 30s. He is about 6’3 and was wearing a white shirt, tan boots and camoflage pants. He also has close, cropped hair and a thin beard.
