UPDATE: According to Dominion Virginia Power, as of 1:53 p.m., there are 300 people without power in the City of Norfolk; 561 without power in Chesapeake; 408 without power in Virginia Beach; and 374 without power in Chuckatuck.
For those who live in Virginia Beach, Chesapeake, and Chuckatuck, the power will be back on by 10 p.m. or later, according to Dominion Virginia Power.
Briar Hill Road in Norfolk from E. VA Beach Blvd to Poplar Hall Drive is still closed due to downed power lines.
