Portsmouth, Va. - Portsmouth police detectives are investigating a late night shooting that left one person injured.
The shooting in the 3800 block of Towne Point Road was first called in at 11:06 pm on Saturday.
When they arrived on scene, officers found an adult man suffering from what appeared to be a gunshot wound on his arm.
Medics transported the man to Sentara Norfolk General with non-life threatening injuries.
At this time detectives do not have a suspect or motive in this case.
