Asheville, N.C. – A bar in Asheville, North Carolina temporarily shut down after a heavy metal band sprayed pig’s blood onstage at a show, splashing fans. That’s according to a report from WGHP via WLOS-TV.
WLOS-TV reported that Lexington Avenue Brewery shut down for a few days to “clean up the mess” left by Charlotte-based band “Young And In The Way.”
Buncombe health officials have confirmed it was pig’s blood. County experts said, while disturbing, they don’t believe the pig’s blood poses a health threat to fans that were splashed with it.
