Chesapeake, Va. – Chesapeake police are looking for four people wanted in the assault of a teen at a local mall.
On Saturday, June 21 at 11:20 p.m. a 17-year-old male and his girlfriend were in the parking lot of Greenbrier Mall, walking from Dillard’s department store towards River Birch Run, which is the backside of the mall.
Four subjects in a white four door car, possibly an older model, pulled up alongside them. According to police, one of the individuals asked the girlfriend to get in the car with them. The victim asked them to leave. Three of the individuals got out of the car and said they would leave if the girlfriend gave them a hug. When the victim defended his girlfriend, all three individuals proceeded to assault him. The suspects got back into the vehicle and fled the area, police say.
The victim went to the hospital where he was treated for facial cuts and bruising as well as a broken jaw.
All four suspects were described as black males approximately 16-20 years old. Two of the three subjects that assaulted the victim had dark skin and short dread locks, and the other was light skinned, police say.
