Virginia Beach, Va. – Crews have responded to two gas leaks in Virginia Beach.
One gas leak has been reported in the 1200 block of Laskin Road; another is located in the 2500 block of Elon Drive.
Virginia Natural Gas crews thought they had located the leak, but now need to dig in another area, possibly the larger eight inch line on Laskin Road, according to Virginia Beach Fire Department officials.
Laskin Road is down to one lane westbound. Officials say this incident may now go for quite a bit longer as Virginia Natural Gas crews get the correct digging equipment on scene.
