Norfolk, Va. – A gas leak has been reported on Monarch Way at 47th Street on the ODU campus, according to Norfolk police dispatch.
The call came in at 8:10 a.m. Monday morning.
Construction crews struck a two inch gas line.
Virginia Natural Gas crews are on the scene.
Evacuations are not likely, officials say.
At this time, the 1000 block of 47th Street is closed.
