Suffolk, Va. – Three people had to be taken to the hospital after a city dump truck was involved in an accident in Suffolk on Wednesday.
This happened in the 1800 Block of Bridge Road/Route 17. Right now, one lane of Northbound Bridge Road will be closed for a few hours as crews work to clear the scene.
Suffolk dispatch was notified at 2:18 p.m. about the accident.
The city says one person was in a personal vehicle and there were two people in the dump truck at the time.
They all reported minor injuries and were taken to Riverside Regional Medical Center.
