Minnesota’s Target Field is the first major league baseball stadium to get a self-serve beer station. That’s according to a report from WTVR via The Minneapolis Star Tribune.
According to the report, fans got to try it out on Sunday during the Twins’ game against the New York Yankees.
The machine dispenses four beer varieties and fans are charged by the ounce; a customer goes to a concession cashier, shows identification, and buys a $10 or $20 vendor card to scan at the machine.
Fans then scan their card and can regulate how much they want to have poured, the report says.
