Durham – Police are investigating after a bomb exploded on a public transit bus Tuesday night in Durham, according to a report from WGHP.
Officials were called to the intersection of West Main and Corcoran Streets around 9:35 p.m. after a jug exploded.
The bus driver told authorities a man got on the bus with the jug and when he got off, the jug exploded. Police say the container was a “Drano Bomb,” according to a report from WTVD.
The driver and a passenger were reportedly the only ones on the bus at the time.
