Three kids left home alone unhurt after home invasion in Norfolk

Norfolk, Va. - Police are looking for two men wanted for a home invasion in Norfolk where three young children were left alone on Tuesday.

Norfolk police received a call regarding the invasion in the 1000 block of Louisa Street around 3:45 p.m. on Tuesday.

An 8-year-old boy, a 5-year-old boy, and a 2-year-old girl were home alone when two men forced their way inside.

The children were sent into a back room while the men took items from the home, police say.

The first suspect is described as a black man, light complexion, thin build, wearing a white t-shirt, blue jeans, and a red and white scarf over his face.

The second suspect is described as a black man , dark completion, wearing a blue and black shirt, with a blue baseball cap, and armed with a handgun.

The men ran away from the scene in an unknown direction after the incident, police say.

No one was injured.

Right now, the children's parents are not facing charges.
