Cooking Channel’s “Spice Goddess” hangs out with folks at Virginia Beach retirement community

Virginia Beach, Va. – The Cooking Channel Celebrity Chef and “Spice Goddess” Bal Arneson dropped by a local retirement community on Friday to show them how it’s done in the kitchen.

The “Spice Goddess” held a cooking demonstration for the residents of Westminster-Canterbury on the Chesapeake Bay Retirement Community.

Bal Arneson, known as the “Spice Goddess” on the Cooking Channel television series, shared her culinary talents with residents and staff on Friday, July 25.

“Chef Peter Tseng and our entire culinary staff do an amazing job preparing popular meals on a daily basis that have great taste and variety,” says Senior Director of Hospitality Services John Matis. “So having someone as talented as Bal Arneson come here is just one more treat.”
