Hampton, Va. – A woman was rushed to the hospital on Friday after she was hit by a tractor trailer in a Hampton Farm Fresh parking lot.
Police say calls came in at around 3:46 p.m. about a 69-year-old woman who had been hit by a 1992 Kensworth Tractor Trailer.
They say she was taken to the hospital for what appears to be non life-threatening injuries.
During the preliminary investigation, police say the truck was backing into a loading dock when it hit the woman in the parking lot.
