Suspects sought in Newport News business robbery

Newport News Police are looking for several men involved in a commercial robbery that occurred at Newport News Computer Services Cyber Cafe in the 600 block of Stoney Creek Lane in the early morning hours of Saturday, July 26th.

Police say the manager and another employee told them they were leaving the business and had entered their cars in the rear parking lot when they were approached by three men armed with guns and wearing masks.

The men forced the manager and employee back inside the business and demanded money.

They were given an undisclosed amount of money and left the area on foot through the parking lot. There was an exchange of gunfire as they left but no one was injured.

The employees provided the following suspect descriptions:

  • Suspect #1 is described as a black male in his mid-twenties with a light to medium complexion, about 5’8”-6’ tall and weighing 230 to 300 pounds. He was wearing dark clothing and a black mask and was armed with a handgun.
  • Suspect #2 is described as a black male in his late teens to mid-twenties with a dark complexion, about 5’8”-6’ tall and weighing about 150 pounds. He was wearing a gray hooded sweatshirt and black mask and was armed with a handgun.
  • Suspect #3 is a black male in his late teens to mid-twenties with a medium complexion, about 5’9” and weighing about 150 pounds. He was wearing a gray t-shirt and a black mask and was armed with a handgun.
