Motorcyclist killed after slamming into back of SUV on I-64

Chesapeake, Va. – A man has died after a fatal motorcycle accident on I-64 Wednesday.

This happened on Battlefield  Boulevard in Chesapeake.

State Police say a 2008 Hyundai SUV, driven by Sherrese C. Wade of Chesapeake, was going west and started to slow down for traffic. A 2012 Kawasaki Motorcycle was following too closely, police say, and hit the back of the SUV.

The 27-year-old driver, Brent Anthony Tilley of Virginia Beach, was thrown off of the motorcycle. He was taken to Chesapeake General Hospital where he later died. His family has been notified.

No other details have been released.
