UPDATE: Beach crews have now ended their search. Nothing was found.
Virginia Beach, Va. – Right now Beach police are investigating a possible drowning on the Oceanfront.
According to Ed Brazle with the Virginia Beach EMS, they received calls at 8:35 p.m. from someone who was on a dolphin watching trip.
The person thought she saw a body float up off 78th Street which is about 1,500 yards off shore.
The woman did not say anything to the crew until they docked and called 911.
There are no reports of any missing swimmers, boaters, or fishermen in the area.
Right now, police are checking with boats from EMS and conducting searches.
