A 24-year-old man was arrested in Norfolk on Wednesday night after an alleged assault involving a knife.
Norfolk Police say they were called to the 9600 block of First View Street around 8:15 p.m. for an assault in progress.
Police arrived to find an adult male who had been cut with a knife. He was treated on scene by medics.
The victim and witnesses were able to give a description of the suspect and he was located several blocks away.
The man was identified as 24-year-old Chad J. Turner. He has been charged with one count of Aggravated Malicious Wounding and one count of Vandalism.
