Three teens were arrested in York County this week after allegedly robbing a person in the area of the Club House in the Coventry subdivision of Tabb.
According to the York-Poquoson Sheriff’s Office, deputies responded to the robbery report on Sunday night around 9:38 p.m.
The victim reported being approached by three young black males. One of the suspects asked the victim what was in his pockets. A suspect then took out a knife and removed a cell phone charger from the victim’s pants pocket.
When the victim refused to tell the suspects where his cell phone was, one of the suspects hit the victim in the face.
All three suspects ran off and got into a vehicle in the parking lot.
Investigators worked through the night and were able to arrest one 18-year-old and two 16-year-olds for the robbery.
The 18 year old, Rasheed Crocker from York County, has been charged with one count of robbery and one count of grand larceny and is being held without bond at the VPRJ.
