Two injured after car crashes into Beach McDonald’s

August 1st, 2014 – McDonald’s at 601 First Colonial Road in Virginia Beach

Virginia Beach, Va. – Two people were injured after a car crashed into a Virginia Beach McDonald’s on Friday afternoon.

According to the Virginia Beach Fire Department, the vehicle ran into the restaurant at 601 First Colonial Road around 1:34 p.m. causing minor damage to the front of the building.

Two occupants inside the restaurant were transported to Sentara Virginia Beach General Hospital with minor injuries, mostly from cuts.

The driver of the vehicle was not injured. The cause appears to be accidental and not due to any medical issues.

The business remains open and is in the process of being fixed by a local glass company.
