UPDATE: Bainbridge Blvd. at the Triple Decker Bridge is now open to traffic.
Chesapeake, Va. - Police and fire crews are currently working an accident on Bainbridge Blvd. at the Triple Decker Bridge after a Sunbelt rental tractor trailer struck the overpass, according to police.
The tractor trailer was hauling a bucket lift. Police say the bucket lift is what struck the bridge.
The driver suffered a minor injury, and was transported to Sentara Norfolk General Hospital.
Bainbridge Blvd. will be closed down indefinitely to assess the damage and to clean up hydraulic fuel leaking from the bucket lift.
