Suffolk, Va.- Police responded to a single vehicle accident in the 600 block of Turlington Road Sunday morning at 9:02 a.m.
The victim, 37-year-old Gerald R. Parker, was the only person in the car and was pronounced dead at the scene.
Parker was driving a Nissan pickup truck which ran off the road and rolled over.
Turlington Rd. was closed and traffic was detoured to Jackson Rd. but reopened around 3 p.m.
