Virginia Beach, Va. – One person was shot overnight in Virginia Beach, according to police dispatch.
The call came in at 1:09 a.m. It happened in the 500 block of Fountain Lake Drive.
Police say the victim was shot by two unknown block males during an attempted robbery.
The victim was transported to a local hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
The case remains under investigation.
