Williamsburg, Va. – The Williamsburg Police Department is asking for the public’s help in identifying a person of interest in a fraud investigation, police tell NewsChannel 3.
On July 15, 2014, a woman entered the Wells Fargo Bank on Richmond Road and withdrew a ‘large sum of cash’ using the stolen identity of a local citizen.
She later attempted to do the same at a Yorktown branch, police say, but was unsuccessful.
