Three Hampton teenagers have been arrested and charged in two robberies that occurred on August 25th.
Hampton Police say a 16-year-old male, an 18-year-old male and a 22-year-old male were in the 300 block of Bromsgrove Drive on Monday night at 10:15 p.m. when they were approached by three unknown suspects displaying a firearm.
The three suspects took the victims’ bicycles and were last seen fleeing on Lynnhaven Drive.
A short time later, at 10:26 p.m., the same suspects assaulted a 16-year-old male and demanded his wallet. The victim told the suspects he had nothing to give him so the suspects fled on the bicycles that had been stolen previously.
On August 26th, officers were on routine patrol in the area of Northampton Drive and Leivester Terrace when they located the three suspects.
As a result, the three stolen bicycles were recovered and returned to the victims.
Two 15-year-old males and one 14-year-old male were each charged with four counts of Robbery and one count of Use of a Firearm in the Commission of a Felony.
