Norfolk, Va. – A Norfolk man is now facing multiple charges relating to sex crimes against children, police tell NewsChannel 3.
On July 2, 2014, a report was made to Norfolk police regarding a possible child pornography suspect.
Norfolk police detectives investigated, and arrested 35-year-old Eric K. Downey of the 8300 block of Dickson Drive.
The arrest was made on August 17, 2014.
Downey has been charged with 15 violations.
Violations include two counts of Unlawful Filming; two counts of Production of Child Pornography; one count of Use of Communications Device to Facilitate Crime Against Children; and 10 counts of Possession of Child Pornography.
Eric Downey is currently being held in the Norfolk City Jail, with no bond, police say.
