UPDATE: Man found dead at Breezy Point Apartments in Norfolk identified

UPDATE: Police have now identified the victim of Thursday’s undetermined death in Norfolk as 25-year-old Alex C. Hobbs.  The exact cause of death will be determined by the Medical Examiner’s Office. 

The results have not been released yet. 

Norfolk, Va. – A man was found dead at Breezy Point Apartments in Norfolk on Thursday evening.

Emergency officials received calls about the incident just before 6:30 p.m.

When crews arrived in the 8600 block of Glen Myrtle Avenue, they discovered a man who was suffering from a gunshot wound. The man was pronounced dead by Fire and Rescue.

This is being called an undetermined death.  The Medical Examiner’s office will determine the exact cause of death.

Police say they are not searching for any suspects and the victim’s name will not be released until his family is notified.
