Man robs Bank of America at gunpoint in Virginia Beach

Virginia Beach, Va.- Police are looking for a male suspect involved in a robbery at the Bank of America in the 1000 block of Independence Blvd. in Virginia Beach.

It happened Saturday morning around 11:40 a.m. Police say a black male entered the bank, showed a hand-gun and demanded money. After getting the money, he fled to a vehicle.

The vehicle was found in the parking lot of Pembroke Crossing Apartments.

It was later determined that the vehicle had been stolen.

The suspect is being described as 5’9 with a medium build, wearing a black jacket, jeans, ball cap, and a dark colored mask.

There were no injuries reported.
