Newport News Fire investigators are looking to solve a series of dumpster fires in that occurred in the Ridley Place complex in August.
Between August 6th and August 19th, there have been a total of 10 dumpster fires in the area of 16th Street and Ivy Avenue and the 600 block of Ridley Circle.
Newport News Fire Department responded to five dumpster fires between 9:18 p.m. on August 6th and 1:46 a.m. on August 7th in the Ridley Place complex. Since that time, there have been two additional dumpster fires on August 13th and three on August 19th. There is no suspect information available at this time.
